Extra Time delivers holiday courses and qualified sports coaching in a number of sports including football, netball, basketball, rugby, dance, gymnastics, athletics and cricket to primary schools and high schools.

Qualified coaches checked by the Criminal Records Bureau will bring all their experience and enthusiasm to offer children a fun, educational and healthy experience through sport in all sessions. These will develop children of all abilities psychologically, spiritually and physically in a safe environment.

All sessions coach children the fundamental movement skills needed across all sports.

Extra Time offers coaching and teaching sessions linked closely to the National Curriculum in various different forms:

After school
During school holidays
Within school time
Before school
At lunch time
Birthday parties
School fun days

All Extra Time coaches are trained to give the Extra Time that every child needs to enhance their enjoyment and development. Every Extra Time session encourages children to make new friends, play fairly and work together as a team.

To keep the quality of coaching and teaching high Extra Time will always keep a ratio of one coach to every 16 children.

Miss Walton, Headteacher at Lostock Gralam CE Primary School, enthuses about the football club at her school:

"Extra Time's combination of enthusiasm and expertise has made our after school football club a huge success. The approach of Extra Time's coaches to children is first class and their pleasure is very evident."
